This poster was exhibited at the Civil Society Hub, Sharm el-Sheikh at COP27 (2022) amongst an array of artists from the collective.

The Fearless Collective ran "An exhibition of artwork that speaks to the intersections between climate, labour and gender. Imagining a future we WANT to inhabit".

The exhibitions focus was centred around enlisting hope as an agent of change. As well as celebrating Indeginous knowledges as a driving force in dealing with climate change.  

 

This image portrays a continual cycle of hands tending to a cacao plant. In Venezuelan tradition, a tree is planted when a child turns one. This tradition creates a long-lasting connection between the child and the earth. Instilling an inherent responsibility to tend for our earth. My tree was a Cacao, a significant plant in my culture. Our actions, our traditions outlive us. What we bring to this life is in our hands.
