Hands are our roots into the world, our instruments of communication. Humans are formed from a collection of natural particles intertwining with a lifetime of interactions. Our identities, cultures and understanding all become a layered reflection of our environments.
Nature's destiny and our own is interwoven.
This piece was created from clay, hand-dug from the ground. The clay was cleaned and pigmented in order to turn it into this textured paint.
The viewer is invited to feel the multi-dimensional elements of the piece and understand the piece on an interactive level.
